Anuradha Paudwal’s son Aditya passes away at 35

Aditya Paudwal, son of veteran singer Anuradha Paudwal passed away in a Mumbai hospital on September 12. He was aged 35.

The news of Aditya’s death was confirmed by popular singer Shankar Mahadevan. While talking to Indian Express, Shankar Mahadevan revealed that Aditya has been suffering from various ailments for many years. The singer told the news outlet that Aditya had severe lung issues, and his kidneys also stopped functioning recently.

“Aditya was only 35 and such a vivacious person. He was unwell for many years actually. He had some physical ailments because of which he also developed hypertension. He even got fit, but the ailments recurred. It had to do something with his lungs and finally, his kidneys failed. Last four days he was in the ICU and this morning he passed away. Very sad,” Shankar Mahadevan told IE.

Shankar Mahadevan also posted his condolences on his Facebook page.

“Devastated hearing this! Our dearest Aditya Paudwal is no more !! Just can’t believe this! What an amazing musician and a lovely human being !! I just sang a song which was programmed by him so beautifully two days back! Just can’t come to terms with this !! Love you brother … miss you,” posted Shankar.

Aditya has been working as a music arranger and producer for the last few years. His last work was with the movie ‘Thackeray’ which starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. He is survived by his mother Anuradha, and singer Kavita.
