Amitabh Bachchan discharged, Abhishek still remains in hospital

It was a few days back that Amitabh Bachchan, the Big B of Bollywood was admitted to the hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus. Now, as per the latest updates, he has been discharged from the Nanavati hospital. The news has been confirmed by Abhishek Bachchan, who is also admitted in the same hospital.

“My father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him,” wrote Abhishek Bachchan on his Twitter page.

A few days back, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya were also discharged from hospital, after they were tested negative for coronavirus. However, Abhishek Bachchan still remains in the healthcare institution and the actor made it clear that he will come back soon after defeating the illness.

“I, unfortunately due to some comorbidity, remain COVID-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted,” wrote Abhishek Bachchan.

In the meantime, it has been reported that Union Home minister Amit Shah is now tested positive for coronavirus. According to the latest updates, the minister has been now admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
