After Pranav, Mohanlal to work with daughter Vismaya

Mohanlal, the complete actor of Indian cinema is now awaiting the release of his new movie ‘Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham’ directed by national-award-winning filmmaker Priyadarshan. In this movie, Mohanlal is teaming up with his son Pranav, and the young actor will be seen playing an extended cameo. According to the latest reports, Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya will be also debuting in the Malayalam industry.

Vismaya unites with Mohanlal

Close sources to Mohanlal reveal that Vismaya will work as an assistant director in the movie ‘Barroz’, which will mark the directorial debut of Mohanlal. An official confirmation regarding Vismaya’s involvement in this upcoming project will come soon.

‘Barroz’ is expected to be a high-voltage fantasy film, and it will be shot with a mammoth budget. Jijo Punnose who had directed ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, the first 3-D film in India has written the script for this film. According to reports, this film will revolve around the story of Barroz, a mythical figure who is designated to protect the treasures of Vasco Da Gama.

Earlier, it has been reported that the shooting of this film will begin in June. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the makers of this film have indefinitely postponed its shooting.

Mohanlal to begin shooting of Drishyam 2

Mohanlal is expected to join the shooting of ‘Drishyam 2’ soon. The film is being directed by Jeethu Joseph, and this project is a sequel to the 2013 blockbuster ‘Drishyam’.

Recently, while interacting with media, Mohanlal had revealed Drishyam will follow the events depicted in the prequel. The ‘Pulimurugan’ actor had also claimed that this sequel will answer all questions audiences had after watching the 2013 film.
