Actress Minu Muneer Accuses Leading Actors of Abuse

Kochi: Actress Minu Muneer has made serious allegations against several prominent actors in the Malayalam film industry. In a post on her Facebook page, Minu claims she was subjected to both physical and mental abuse by actors including Jayasurya, Mukesh, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Ivala Babu, Adv Chandrasekaran, Production Controller Noble, and Vichu.

Minu alleged that she experienced sexual harassment from Jayasurya while working on the film De Ingot Nokiye. She also accused Mukesh of using inappropriate language and pressuring her to comply. Additionally, she claimed that Maniyan Pillai Raju made inappropriate advances, including stating he would visit her hotel room during the shooting of Da Thadiya, and later became hostile at the location.

Minu stated that she was forced to leave the Malayalam film industry due to the persistent harassment and was compelled to move to Chennai to continue her career. She expressed her desire to remain in the industry but said that the abusive environment made it unbearable for her to continue in Malayalam cinema.
