4,937 people confirmed with COVID-19 on Feb 16

A total of 4,937 people were confirmed with COVID-19 on February 16.

Of the total, 4,478 people got the infection through contact. While the source of infection for 340 was not known, 29 health workers also contracted COVID-19.

Eighteen deaths related to COVID-19 were reported on the day with the total crossing 4,000 to touch 4,016. A total of 74,352 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

A 5,439 infected people were cured in the last 24 hours.
