29th Muscat International Book Fair open for visitors with global lineup and local spotlight

Muscat: Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Jalandy Al Said, Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University and hosted at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year’s fair has drawn participation from 674 publishing houses representing 35 countries, marking it as one of the region’s most significant cultural gatherings. Running until May 3, the event aims to bridge minds and markets through a robust display of global literature and knowledge exchange.

The North Al Sharqiyah Governorate takes center stage as the guest of honor, offering visitors a unique window into its vibrant heritage, cultural landmarks, and tourism potential.

Throughout the ten-day event, attendees can explore a wide array of activities including intellectual seminars, specialized industry workshops, and interactive performances tailored for children and families.
