24 Omani startups aim for global expansion in Web Summit 2025

DOHA : Supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT), Omani startups are using the platform to expand into regional and international markets, forge global partnerships, and attract digital investments.

His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Amer Al-Shaidhani, Undersecretary for Communications and Information Technology, emphasized the summit’s significance, calling it an essential global forum for the tech industry.
Under the slogan “We Reach the World,” Oman aims to highlight its strategic geographical location, placing it within the path of major international internet lines and reinforcing its role as a global center for digital growth.
Omani startups at the summit are showcasing innovations in artificial intelligence, education technologies, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and health technology. The event also provides an opportunity for them to connect with investors and industry experts, paving the way for future collaborations.

The Web Summit 2025, running until February 26, has attracted over 15,000 participants from 180 countries, including 400 investors and 1,000 startups—making it one of the world’s most influential technology gatherings.
