President of the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee Jagtapji, Marathi film star Swapnil Joshi and Minorities Minister Nawab Malik handing over Lokmat Lifestyle Ikon 2020 award to Upendra Menon on January 23, 2021.
Other Ministers present on the occasion were Minister for Tehnical and Higher education Uday Sawant and Minister for Mumbai Aslam Shaikh. Lokmat is a premier Marathi media institution in Mumbai.
Upendra Menon, who is the Chief Coordinator of ‘Who’s Who of Maharashtra Malayalis, had earlier been a recipient of Pride of India award at Constitution Club in New Delhi. He was the Special Executive Officer, Government of Mahrashtra and is the first Malayali Lokmat Lifestyle Ikon.
