UAE National Guard Conducts 347 Rescues in First Half of 2025

Abu Dhabi: The UAE National Guard Command announced that it conducted 347 rescue operations on land and at sea—both domestically and internationally—during the first six months of 2025, underscoring the country’s growing capacity and readiness in emergency response.

According to official data, the National Search and Rescue Center completed 218 missions, including:

  • 63 search, rescue, and medical evacuation operations
  • 18 domestic air ambulance transfers for patients
  • 13 international medical and air ambulance missions

In parallel, the UAE Coast Guard Unit carried out 129 search and rescue missions in the waters of the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Authorities emphasized that these achievements reflect the ongoing commitment to improving national emergency services and enhancing operational preparedness, particularly during the “Year of the Community.”

The National Guard highlighted the deployment of advanced technologies and state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring quick response times and the protection of lives in diverse environments and critical situations.
