UAE Mars Hope Probe launch postponed due to poor weather conditions

The launch of the UAE’s Mars probe has been postponed to Friday due to adverse weather. The Hope probe was scheduled to launch at 00.51 on July 15.

It will now launch on Friday ,July 17, at 12.43 am UAE time.

The probe’s launch from Japan’s Tanegashima Space Centre, represented the launch window of the Emirates Mars Mission, which extends to August 13, 2020. Regardless of the time of its launch, it is expected to reach the Martian orbit on February 2021
