UAE Introduces 180-Day Entry Visa for Blue Residency Applicants

The United Arab Emirates has introduced a 180-day multiple-entry visa for applicants of the Blue Residency, a 10-year visa aimed at individuals who have made exceptional contributions to environmental protection, sustainability, and clean energy. This initiative facilitates eligible individuals residing outside the UAE to complete necessary procedures for obtaining the Blue Residency visa.

Eligibility Criteria:

Distinguished Influencers: Individuals with significant contributions and positive impacts in environmental and sustainability fields.

Scientists and Researchers: Those with notable global achievements in relevant areas, subject to nomination and approval by the UAE Scientists Council.

Investors and Entrepreneurs: Participants in sectors related to environment, climate change, sustainability, and renewable energy.

Specialists: Professionals working in governmental and private environmental institutions within the UAE.

Application Process:
Applicants can apply through the UAEICP smart services platform or mobile application by:

Filling in the required information and uploading necessary documents.

Paying applicable fees.

Submitting the application.

Receiving transaction confirmation via email.

The application process takes approximately seven minutes, with service completion in one working day upon fulfilling all requirements. Required documents include a valid passport copy (minimum six months validity), a recent colored personal photograph, and supporting documents verifying eligibility for the Blue Residency.

This initiative aligns with the UAE’s commitment to sustainability and complements existing residency programs like the Golden and Green residencies.
