This video racked up 1.9 million views on YouTube for nothing

A new video shared to YouTube by an Indonesian user named Sobat Miskin Official has now gone viral on the internet. Interestingly, this video offers nothing to the viewers, and all we can see is a man simply sitting and doing nothing but staring at the camera for more than two hours.

The video has been named 2 JAM nggak ngapa-ngapain, which means two hours of doing nothing. This YouTuber named Muhammad Didit revealed that he has made this video after many of his followers requested him to make a video with a content that could educate the youth.

“Ok, maybe I should share a little bit why this video was made. It all started from the Indonesian society urging me lately to create content that educates the youth – finally with a heavy heart and reluctantly, I did. BOOM, thus the creation of this video but if we were to talk about its benefits, it all depends on you the viewers to filter and that is my only advice to all of you and hope that you will be entertained and benefit from this video,” wrote the YouTuber in the video’s description.

According to the latest updates, the video has racked up more than 1.9 million views on YouTube, and people are lauding the vlogger for creating such unique content.

“Look at the pain in his eyes. Every time he blinks, it’s a reminder that the clock ticks and is never going back. The sad emotion in this video is purely signifying the reality of the situation at hand. Why two hours? Why does it feel so long? Because this pandemic and the lockdown is too excruciating that it feels like forever and longer than it seems. But we are still here despite knowing that he does nothing,” commented BabyGun 47, a YouTube user.
