										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Nifty closed at 14,000 points for the first time on New Year&#8217;s Day. Similarly, the Nifty rose by 36 points to close at 14,018. The Sensex closed at 47,868. The Sensex was up 117 points.</p>
<p>Although it failed to close above 14,000 points on the last day of 2020, the market surpassed that target on the first day of the New Year. It has become a daily sight that the market is moving to new heights.</p>
<p>On the New Year day, public sector bank stocks were the main gainers. The Nifty PSU Bank Index was up 3.25 per cent. IT and auto stocks also rose. Foreign investment firms continue to invest behind the boom.</p>
<p>Adani Ports, TCS, ITC, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra and SBI are the top gainers in the Nifty. Adani Ports rose more than 4 per cent. Most of the Nifty stocks gained. 35 shares rose while 15 shares fell. The biggest losers were Nifty stocks ICICI Bank and SBI Life.</p>
<p>In December, various automakers posted better-than-expected sales. This led to a rise in the price of automobile stocks.</p>

<p>Shares traded flat for the sixth day in a row and closed flat. The Nifty closed with no gains or losses. The Sensex gained five points.</p>
<p>The Nifty touched 14,000 points for the first time on December 31. Pharma stocks were the main contributors to the market. At the same time, the Nifty was unable to close above 14,000 points.</p>
<p>The Nifty, which started the morning with gains, has moved to new heights. The Nifty touched a new high of 14,024. At the same time, the market was experiencing severe volatility.</p>
<p>HDFC, Sun Pharma, Divis Lab, ICICI Bank and Asian Paints were the top gainers. Most Nifty stocks lost ground. 28 shares fell while 22 shares rose. The biggest losers were Nifty stocks Sree Cements and TCS.</p>
<p>Pharma and real estate stocks are the major gainers today. The Nifty Real Estate Index was up 1.23 per cent.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market, which has been on a steady rise, has set a new record on November 23. The Nifty set a new record of 12,968. The Sensex was up 194 points and the Nifty 67 points. The Sensex closed above 44,000 and the Nifty closed above 12,900.</p>
<p>The Sensex closed at 44,077.15 points and the Nifty closed at 12926.50 points. The Nifty had fallen 140 points during the day. The day’s low is 12,825 points.</p>
<p>IT, metal and pharma stocks were the major contributors to the day’s gains. The Nifty Metal index was up 1.22 per cent, the Nifty Pharma index was up 1.83 per cent and the Nifty IT index was up 2.79 per cent.</p>
<p>The top five gainers were ONGC, IndusInd Bank, GAIL, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Infosys. ONGC rose 6.63 per cent. IndusInd Bank, GAIL, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Infosys gained over 3 per cent each.</p>
<p>The majority of Nifty stocks traded higher. Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty, 36 gained while 14 lost. Shares of IOC, Hero Motors, HCL Tech, TCS and BPCL lost ground. The IOC fell 2.06 per cent.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market continues to set records every day. On November 18 the market has reached new heights. The Sensex closed above 44,000 points for the first time. The Sensex was up 227 points and the Nifty 64 points. The Nifty closed above 12,900 for the first time.</p>
<p>The Sensex closed at 44180.05 points and the Nifty closed at 12938.30 points. The Nifty was down about 130 points during the day. The day’s low was 12,819 points. The Nifty had gone up to 12,948 points during the day.</p>
<p>Auto and bank stocks were the major contributors to the day’s gains. The Nifty Bank Index was up 1.95 per cent and the Nifty Auto Index was up 3.10 per cent.</p>
<p>Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv, L&amp;T and IndusInd Bank were the top five gainers. Mahindra &amp; Mahindra gained 10.65 per cent and Tata Motors gained 9.30 per cent. Shares of Bajaj Finserv, L&amp;T and IndusInd Bank gained over 6 per cent.</p>
<p>Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Hindalco, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Divis Lab, Grasim Industries, Ultratech Bank and HDFC Life were at the year’s highest during the day.</p>
<p>The majority of Nifty stocks traded higher. Of the 50 stocks in the Nifty, 26 gained while 24 lost. IT and pharma stocks fell. BPCL, Hindustan Unilever, Dr Reddy&#8217;s Laboratories, Titan and TCS were among the losers.</p>

<p>The morning trade started with a slight gain but then moved towards a loss. But since then, the market has seen a surge. The Nifty rose 100 points from a low.</p>
<p>The Sensex closed at 39,757 points. 39,968 points. The day’s low is 39,334 points. Similarly, Nifty rose by 26 points to 11,725. The Nifty closed at 11,669 points after falling sharply to 11,557 points.</p>
<p>The majority of Nifty stocks traded higher on the day. Of the 50 stocks involved in the Nifty, 26 gained while 24 lost. IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC and Bharti Airtel were the top five gainers on the day.</p>
<p>IndusInd Bank gained 6.45%. ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC and Bharti Airtel gained over 5 per cent.</p>
<p>Bank stocks were the biggest gainers on the day. Similarly, the Nifty Banking Index rose by 4.15 per cent. ICICI Bank&#8217;s strong performance led to the rise of other bank stocks.</p>
<p>Reliance Industries, Divis Lab, Acer Motors, HCL Tech and TCS were the top five losers in the Nifty. Reliance Industries fell 8.69 per cent. Second-quarter results fell short of market expectations.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market on October 27 made up for the losses the day before. The Sensex was up by 376 points and the Nifty by 121 points. The market closed with gains after a sharp volatility.</p>
<p>The morning trade started with a slight gain but then moved towards a loss. But since then there has been a strong uptick in the market. The Nifty gained 175 points from a low.</p>
<p>The Sensex closed at 40,522 points. It was up 40,555 points. Today&#8217;s low was 39,978 points. There was strong support at 40,000 points.</p>
<p>The Nifty fell below 11,800 points on October 26 but rose above that level on October 27. Similarly, Nifty gained 121 points to 11,899. The Nifty closed at 11,889 points, after falling 1,723 points.</p>
<p>The majority of Nifty stocks traded higher. Of the 50 stocks involved in the Nifty, 32 gained while 18 lost. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Nestle India, Asian Paints, Shree Cements and Bajaj Finance were the top five gainers.</p>
<p>Kotak Mahindra Bank gained 11.70 per cent. During the July-September quarter, Kotak Mahindra Bank reported better-than-expected performance. This is what caused the stock price to soar. Shares of Nestle India, Asian Paints and Shree Cements gained over 5 per cent.</p>
<p>Bank stocks were the biggest gainers. The Nifty Bank Index was up 2.88 per cent. Kotak Mahindra Bank&#8217;s strong performance led to the rise of other bank stocks. At the same time, IT stocks lost ground.</p>
<p>HDFC, TCS, ONGC, Infosys and Wipro were the top five gainers in the Nifty. HDFC fell more than 2 per cent.</p>

<p>Most of the 50 stocks in the Nifty were gainers on the day. Twenty-eight stocks gained while 22 stocks lost. Wipro, Cipla, TCS, Ultratech Cement and Infosys were the top gainers. Wipro rose 7.34 per cent.</p>
<p>Gail, ONGC, ITC, Aysher Motors and L&amp;T were the top five losers in the Nifty.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market continues to rise. The Sensex was up 276 points and the Nifty 86 points on October 5.</p>
<p>The Sensex closed at 38,973 points. The day’s low was 38,819 points. It was the continuation of progress on October 1.</p>
<p>The Nifty rose again to 11,500 points and ended at that level. The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty rose to 11,578 points. Since then it has fallen to 11,452 but closed above 11,500.</p>
<p>The Indian market was also a reflection of the progress in the global market. IT and metal stocks led the gains on the day. The Nifty IT index was up 3.47 per cent. TCS is up 7.23 per cent. TCS will consider buying back the shares at its October 7 board meeting. The TCS board will meet on Wednesday ahead of the announcement of the July-September quarterly results. Following this news, the share price of TCS has risen by more than 7 per cent/</p>
<p>Most of the 50 stocks in the Nifty were gainers on the day. Thirty stocks gained while 20 stocks lost. TCS, Wipro, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma and JSW Steel were the top gainers. TCS and Wipro were up over 70 per cent.</p>
<p>Bajaj Finserv, Shree Cements, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance and GAIL were the top five losers.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market continued to fall sharply on September 24. The Sensex lost 1114 points on September 24. The Nifty was down 326 points.</p>
<p>The Sensex fell below 37,000 points following a sharp fall. The Sensex ended at 36.553 points. The Nifty closed at 10,805. The market, which opened with a loss, continued to decline sharply since then. The Nifty fell nearly 1,000 points from its highs in August.</p>
<p>Most of the index-based stocks were down on the day. Forty-seven stocks in the Nifty declined while only three stocks rose. Nifty stocks that registered gains were Infratel, Zee Limited and Hindustan Unilever.</p>
<p>IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Grasim Industries and TCS were the biggest losers in the Nifty. IndusInd Bank fell 7.45 per cent. Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Grasim Industries and TCS were down more than 5 per cent.</p>
<p>IT and metal stocks were the biggest losers. The Nifty IT index was down 4.20 per cent and the Nifty metal index was down 4.24 per cent. Sales pressure was also strong in the banking, auto and pharma sectors. The Nifty Bank Index was down 3.41 per cent, the Nifty Auto Index was down 3.54 per cent and the Nifty IT Index was down 3.04 per cent.</p>
<p>IT stocks TCS and Tech Mahindra fell more than 5 per cent. Metal stocks such as Jindal Steel, NMDC, National Aluminum and SAIL also fell more than 50 per cent. Shares of IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank and Federal Bank also lost over 5 per cent.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>India&#8217;s largest software services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has set up 11 first-line COVID-19 isolation centres within its premises in various cities in India, including Mumbai, Indore and Nagpur.</p>
<p>According to an email to employees, these centres will provide medical support to associates and their dependents (spouse, children and parents /parents-in-law) who are asymptomatic or mildly COVID-19 positive with no other co-morbidities or medical history/complications.</p>
<p>All the centres will have 24/7 medical cover, along with daily monitoring by trained professionals.</p>
<p>The patients can even connect with a counsellor virtually during their treatment.<br />
TCS said that the priority has always been to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees.</p>
<p>“TCS Health Centres campuses will provide isolation, comfort and treatment by the health professionals to our employees and their dependents, who are asymptomatic or have mild (COVID-19) symptoms,&#8221; a statement from TCS said.</p>
<p>These centres, which will function as per the various guidelines laid down by the Centre and state governments, have been set up in TCS facilities in Chennai, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Indore and Nagpur.</p>
<p>TCS has collaborated with various entities to provide medical and hospitality support at these centres that have around 20-50 beds.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market started the day on a positive note but could not sustain gains. The market was volatile as in the past week. The Sensex was down 98 points and the Nifty was down 24 points.</p>
<p>The Sensex ended at 38,756 points. It was up 39,230 points on September 14. But The Sensex has not been able to cross the psychological level of 39,000.</p>
<p>The Nifty was up 11,568 points at one point but could not sustain gains. It closed at 11,440 points. It had fallen to 11,384 points during trading but closed above 11,400.</p>
<p>Most of the index-based stocks were down. Of the 34 stocks in the Nifty, only 16 gained. IT stocks were the main gainers on the day. HCL Tech, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and UPL are the top five gainers in the Nifty.</p>
<p>The Nifty IT index was up 4.44%. Shares of HCL Technologies rose 10.60 per cent on the back of strong performance in the second quarter. This led to the rise of other IT stocks as well. TCS was up 4.85 per cent and Wipro was up 4.45 per cent. IT stocks such as HCL Tech, TCS, Wipro and Infosys hit 52-week highs on the day.</p>
<p>Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, BPCL, Powergrid and SBI were the biggest losers in the Nifty. Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance and BPCL fell more than 3 per cent.</p>
<p>The Nifty Realty Index was up 3.72 per cent. At the same time, selling pressure on bank shares was visible.</p>
<p>SEBI&#8217;s proposal to change the investment ratio of multicap funds has led to a surge in smallcap stocks. The Nifty Smallcap 50 Index was up 6.25 per cent on the day.</p>

<p>The Sensex ended 15 points higher at 38,854 points. The day’s low was 38,711 points. The Sensex was at 38,978.52 points but could not cross the psychological level of 39,000.</p>
<p>|The Nifty was up 11,493 points at one point but could not rise above the 11,500 point level. It closed at 11,464 points. At one point in the trade, the indices lost ground but ended with gains.</p>
<p>Although the index gained, most of the index-based stocks lost ground. 21 stocks in the Nifty were up while 29 were down. Wipro, SBI, Tech Mahindra, TCS and Hero Motors were the top five gainers in the Nifty. TCS was up 2.81 per cent and SBI was up 2.80 per cent.</p>
<p>IT stocks were the main gainers on the day. The Nifty IT index was up 1.29 per cent.</p>
<p>The biggest losers in the Nifty were Zee Limited, IndusInd Bank, PowerGrid, BPCL and Coal India. Zee Ltd. fell 2.22 per cent.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On July 28, the stock market rose sharply after falling yesterday. The market witnessed the Nifty rise above 11,300 points.</p>
<p>At the close of trading, the Sensex was up 558 points. The Sensex, which had gained over 38,554 points during trading session, closed at 38,492 points.</p>
<p>Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Index Nifty closed 168 points higher at 11,300 points. The Nifty was up by 11,317.75 points.</p>
<p>Ultratech Cement, TCS, Tata Motors, Grasim Industries and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top gainers. Ultratech Cement gained 7.07 per cent.<br />
Auto stocks led the market on the day. Similarly, the Nifty rose by 3.37 per cent. Mahindra &amp; Mahindra gained 5.26%. This stock hit a 52-week high on the day.</p>
<p>IT stocks helped the market with strong gains. TCS rose 4.57 per cent. HCL Tech and Infosys hit 52-week highs today. The Nifty IT index was up 2.51 per cent.</p>
<p>The top five losers in the Nifty were Infratel, Nestle India, ICICI Bank, ONGC and Asian Paints.</p>

<p>The shares of the key energy company BPCL rose 12.43%. The shares of Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Power and ONGC rose above 5%. </p>
<p>Relieance Industries too aided the surge in the market on July 17. The shares of Reliance Industries rose 3.94%.<br />
BPCL, ONGC, GAIL, Infratel and Reliance Industries are the Nifty shares that registered high gains </p>
<p>The shares of Hindalco, Britannia, Nestle India, TCS and Dr. Reddy’s faced losses on the day.</p>
