Congress is leading in 131 seats out of the 224 Assembly seats as the counting of votes for the high stake Karnataka assembly elections 2023 is underway. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leads in 73 seats and the Janata Dal (S) in 18 seats with its leader H.D Kumaraswami trailing in his constituency.
