Laxmmi Bomb has no apparent links to nepotism – the lead actors Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani are not starkids. It is directed by south filmmaker Raghava Lawrence, and produced by Cape of Good Films (Akshay’s company), Fox Star Studios, Shabinaa Entertainment and Tushar Entertainment House.

However, some netizens seemed to have been looking forward to hitting the dislike button on the Laxmmi Bomb trailer on YouTube, and were pretty disappointed to find that the Disney+ Hotstar had hidden the ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ numbers. Some opined that the makers were scared of public opinion.

Earlier the OTT platform has face a lot of backlash in the past when it released trailers of of the film Sadak 2, starring Alia Bhatt which got a record 13M dislikes.

Akshay himself seemed to irk SSR fans recently when he finally broke his silence on Sushant’s death and the investigation into an alleged drug problem in Bollywood. He admitted that drug use is a problem in the film industry but requested everyone to not view the entire industry as a place of wrongdoings.

Laxmmi Bomb is a comedy horror film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence in his Hindi directorial debut. It is a remake of the Tamil movie Muni 2: Kanchana, and the trailer promises a total mass entertainer will be releasing on November 9, 2020, on Disney+ Hotstar.

Asianet has already started showing promos regarding the online streaming of the movie that could happen soon. The film was supposed to hit the screens before the coronavirus outbreak, but it was delayed due to multiple reasons.

The film is directed by Jeo Baby, who has previously helmed 2 Penkuttikal. The director himself has written the script of the movie along with Deepu Pradeep. In a previous interview, Tovino Thomas had revealed that this movie will be an in and out commercial entertainer which can boast of strong content.

In the film, Tovino will be seen playing the role of Josemon, a tourist guide who serves an American traveler named Cathy. The film will portray the journey of Joseman and Cathy, and the way in which this trip changes the perception of Joseman towards life.

Apart from Tovino Thomas, Kilometers and Kilometers also stars India Jarvis (Cathy), Joju George, Sidharth Siva, Basil Joseph, Vijay Fort, and Ramesh Pisharody in other prominent roles.

Sinu Sidharth has cranked the cinematography of this film, while Sushin Shyam has composed the background score. An official announcement regarding the OTT premiere date of this flick will be made in the coming hours.
