The UAE on Saturday has announced that all residents can now travel to all accessible destinations for ‘general’ reasons in accordance with all mandatory precautions and safety measures imposed by the UAE government to control the spread of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, those within the country can travel without applying for a permit from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA). However persons aged above 70 are advised not to travel due to the risks involved.

The individuals must bring a COVID-19 negative test result as a proof and should be presented on the Al Hosn application before travelling. Travel is permitted depending on the factors such as public health, health checks upon arrival and the result must be negative . They must obtain international health insurance, which should have 48 hours validity.

Returning UAE residents should also have to keep in mind that no regulations and procedures are violated. They must examine themselves in countries where laboratories are available, before they return back to UAE.
