Sushant’s sister requests PM’s intervention

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti today shared an open letter on her Twitter handle requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene into the case of the actor’s death and confirm that everything is “handled in a sanitized way and there is no tampering of evidences.

“Dear Sir, Somehow my heart says that you stand with and for the truth. We are from a very simple family. My brother had no Godfather when he was in Bollywood nor do we have anyone right now. My request to you is to immediately look into this case and make sure that everything is handled in a sanitized way and no evidences are tampered with. Expecting justice to prevail,” Sushant Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, wrote on Twitter.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, who had starred in films such as “Chichhore”, “Kai Po Che” and “Kedarnath”, died of suicide at his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14.

Meanwhile , the Mumbai police has not yet found the exact reasons behind the suicide case. The Maharashtra government, however, has been repeatedly insisting that the Mumbai police is capable to handle the matter.

“I would like to tell Rajput’s fans to trust the Mumbai police and give whatever information they have to them. You can criticise if the case is not taken to its logical conclusion,” Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Friday.

The Bihar police has started investigating the case after Sushant’s family filed a complaint accusing Actress Rhea Chakraborty of transferring money from his account and also mentally harassing him.

Responding to the allegations Rhea through a brief video stated that truth shall prevail and that she had “immense faith in God and the judiciary”.

On Friday, Shweta shared a photo of Sushant Rajput’s whiteboard with the actor’s plan post June 29, 2020, which included workout sessions and doing meditation.

“Bhai’s White Board where he was planning to start his workout and transcendental meditation from 29th June daily. So he was planning ahead. #justiceforsushantsinghrajput”, she wrote.

While Rhea Chakraborty filed a petition in Supreme Court asking for the Bihar FIR to be transferred to Mumbai. The Supreme Court will hear the Petition on August 5.
