Suhasini to be a part of Lucifer’s Telugu remake

Mohanlal starrer Lucifer was one of the biggest hits in 2019.The movie had a stellar cast including Tovino Thomas,Manju Warrier,Vivek Oberoi and Indrajith Sukumaran. According to the latest reports,Suhasini is roped in to play a prominent role in the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan had secured the remake rights of the movie to produce it under their banner,Konidela Productions. In the Telugu remake,Chiranjeevi will reprise Mohanlal’s role.Grapevine has it that veteran actress Suhasini is to play Megastar Chiranjeevi’s sister in the remake. Manju Warrier played the role of Mohanlal’s sister in the original.

Director Sujeeth,who helmed Prabhas’ Saaho, has been roped in to direct the Telugu remake.The film’s team confirmed the same and revealed that the film will go on floors once Chiranjeevi completes his another film Acharya. Currently,Sujeeth is working on the film’s script and the pre-production work is going on in full swing.The original film was the the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.
