Popular Tollywood director SS Rajamouli has been tested positive for coronavirus. The director himself confirmed this news through his official Twitter handle, and he revealed that he and his family are currently in home quarantine.

“My family members and I developed a slight fever a few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors,” wrote Rajamouli on his Twitter page.

SS Rajamouli is currently busy with the works of his upcoming movie RRR. The film is a big-budget outing, and it stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani, and Alison Doody in the lead roles. MM Keeravani who composed the music for the Baahubali franchise is composing the music for this film as well.

This upcoming movie is expected to hit the theaters on January 08, 2021. However, it is still unclear whether the current coronavirus lockdown and theater opening dilemma will affect the release of this flick.
