Smoke emerges from Muscat-Cochin Air India Express, passengers evacuated

Muscat: Smoke emerged from an Air India Express prior to the take off spreading panic at Muscat International Airport on Wednesday.

Passengers were soon evacuated via slides from the flight IX-442, VT-AXZ, which was all set to take off to Kochi.

According to the reports, at least 141 passengers and six crew were on board when the smoke arose and all of them were safely evacuated from the flight.
