Seven-day hotel stay must for all passengers coming to Oman

People coming to Oman will have to stay in hotels for at least seven days as a part of institutional quarantine, the Ministry of Social Development announced on Thursday.

The procedures have been implemented at all Oman Airports from February 11 and the passengers will have to book the hotels once they land in the airports.

The ministry has earmarked six hotels in Muscat governorate which have been identified as Swiss-Belinn Muscat, Ibis, Secure Inn, Sheraton, Tulip Inn and Somerset Panorama Muscat.

In Musandam governorate, listed are the Dibba Beach Hotel and the Khasab Hotel. In Dhofar governorate, the Alpha Hotel Salalah has been identified. In Buraimi the Arena Hotel, in Al Dakhliyah the Al Diyar Hotel, in North Al Sharqiyah the Golden Rays Hotel, in South Al Sharqiyah the Sur Beach Hotel, and in North Al Batinah the Mercure Hotel Solar have been chosen
