After days of anxious wait, Xiaomi has launched their much-anticipated smartphone Redmi Note 9 in India. According to close sources to the smartphone makers, this new device will be on sale in leading e-commerce platforms later this week, and it will be priced at Rs 11,999.

Redmi Note 9 is powered with Helio G85 processor which is a decent offering at this price range. The device will also feature octa-core design (2x Cortex-A75 and 6x Cortex-A55) and Mali-G52 MC2 graphics, and it indicates that this smartphone will deliver a decent overall performance.

It should be also noted that this processor is a part of MediaTek’s gaming-focused G series, and as a result, users can expect a decent gaming experience in Redmi Note 9.

This smartphone will have a quad rear camera (48MP+8MP ultra-wide+2MP macro+2MP depth), and will also have a 13 MP front-facing camera. Redmi Note 9 is powered with a giant 5020 mAh battery, and it will also have a p2i water-repellent coating. The device will offer a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, and a rear fingerprint scanner.

The company has priced Rs 11,999 for the 4GB/64GB. For the 4GB/128GB option, buyers should pay Rs 13,499. The top-tier product which is the 6GB/128GB model is priced at Rs 14,999.

It is still unclear whether Redmi Note 9 will find top gear on the Indian market, especially after the anti-China campaign that started in the country following tensions in the border.
