Delhi Capitals won against Royals Challengers Bangalore by six wickets at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi to qualify as the second-placed team in play-offs of IPL 2020. Delhi will now lock horns with top-placed Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier on November 5, while RCB who finished third, will play in the Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Earlier, RCB was restricted them to 152 for seven wickets with DC bowlers Anrich Nortje (3/33) and Kagiso Rabada (2/30) putting the brakes. Hyderabad secures a spot in the playoffs

Sunrisers Hyderabad presented their best IPL 2020 game in Sharjah on November 3 to gain a place in the playoffs on November 6 against RCB. They posted a 10-wicket victory over table toppers and defending champions Mumbai Indians to jump to the third position in the points table.

Kolkata Knight Riders had to exit the tournament with Royal Challengers Bangalore claiming the fourth place on account of better run rate.
Earlier, SRH won the toss and sent Mumbai Indians to bat. MI skipper Rohit Sharma, who was passed fit after missing four matches, got out cheaply for 4. Quinton de Kock, the other opener, got out for 25. Kieron Pollard smashed a 25-ball 41 (four sixes and two boundaries) to lift a struggling Mumbai to 149/8.

Chasing 150, Hyderabad reached their target in 17.1 overs with captain David Warner (85 runs off 58 balls) and Wriddhiman Saha (58 off 45) posting an unbeaten first-wicket partnership.

SRH bowlers also presented a splendid performance to restrict Mumbai Indians in the final league match. Seamer Sandeep Sharma came with three for 34, while left-arm spinners Shahzbaz Nadeem (2/19), Rashid Khan (1/32) and pacer Jason Holder 2/25 gave good support. Nadeem was the man of the match.
