Randeep Hooda admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, undergoes major surgey

Popular Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda who was last seen in Netflix’s Extraction has apparently undergone a major surgery on August 26. According to reports, the surgery was carried out in the Breach Candy Hospital after the actor complained of severe pain. More details regarding the actor’s health condition still remain a mystery.

Randeep reached the hospital with his father, who is a doctor in the same facility. Soon, medical experts conducted coronavirus tests on the actor, and the result came out negative. A major surgical procedure was carried out later, and the actor is being now kept under observation.

“Randeep was admitted in the morning. He underwent a couple of tests, including the Covid-19 test. He tested negative for the latter, which is why they could go ahead with the surgery. It’s best if the family talks about the nature of the pain and subsequent surgery,” said a hospital source, as per a Times of India report.

It was on August 20 that the actor celebrated his 44th birthday. His last movie Extraction which had a direct OTT release was well-received by critics and audiences, and his performance in the movie garnered rave reviews from all corners. Through this movie, Randeep also succeeded in elevating his stardom, and he now enjoys a decent fan following among Hollywood audiences.

“Extraction was a huge success worldwide with a phenomenal reach. I really enjoyed working on it and got to learn so many new things from the fabulous cast and crew,” said Randeep after the success of the Netflix movie.

Extraction was directed by Sam Hargrave. The film featured Chris Hemsworth in the lead role, and he portrayed the role of a black-market mercenary who is in charge of a rescue mission.
