Mr. Murali is actively involved in socio-cultural activities in Sharjah for the last three and a half decades. He was also a member of the Loka Kerala Sabha during its last two editions.

He was the Chairman of the Sharjah Indian Associations’ Governing Front during the inauguration by Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan at the Sharjah Indian School Juisa.

Mr. Murali, who coordinates the activities of the various cultural communities in the UAE, is a founding member of MASS Sharjah, the early President and still active under the leadership of MASS.

During the time of distress owing to COVID-19, he took the lead in coordinating the efforts of NORKA, Loka Kerala Sabha, various cultural organisations, Indian associations and other public forums for the provision of food and medicine to the needy.
