Anushka Shetty and Samantha Akkineni have been the highest-paid Tollywood actresses, at least for the last five years. But now, Kannada girl Pooja Hegde has overtaken both Samantha and Anushka, and she is now the highest-paid starlet in Kollywood.

According to the industry buzz, Pooja Hegde is apparently charging Rs 2.5 crores for one movie. Hegde raised her remuneration after some of her recent movies became huge hits at the box-office. Until now, Hegde was charging Rs 1.5 crore for one movie.

On the other hand, Anushka Shetty is charging Rs 2 crore for one movie, while Samantha’s remuneration for a film is Rs 1.5 crore.

Pooja Hedge’s previous movie was Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which featured Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film was a blockbuster, and its remake versions too fared well.

Pooja Hegde will be next seen with superstar Prabhas in the movie ‘Radhe Shyam’. The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, and it is being simultaneously shot in both Hindi and Telugu.

According to unofficial reports, Pooja Hedge has also signed a Bollywood movie named Circus which will have Ranveer Singh in the lead role. This film directed by Rohit Shetty will feature Ranveer Singh in dual roles.
