Abu Dhabi : The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention has introduced a new digital service that allows sick leaves and medical reports issued by hospitals to be attested online. Users can access the service through the Ministry’s website or mobile application using their UAE Pass.

Key Guidelines:

  • Sick leaves up to five days can be approved directly through the online system.
  • For leaves exceeding one month, users must pay a fee and obtain approval from the Supreme Medical Committee.
  • Sick leaves and medical reports issued abroad require prior attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before being submitted to the medical committee for final approval.

Authorities stated that the attestation service is designed to be user-friendly and ensures fast and efficient processing.
