Oman’s Abraj Energy Services secures BP drilling contract worth RO 14 million

Muscat : In a disclosure on Muscat Stock Exchange, Abraj has announced that it has received a letter of award for a three-year, renewable contract, to supply and operate a drilling rig with BP Exploration Epsilon Limited in Block 61.

The contract, which spans an initial period of three years and includes an option for a two-year extension, is expected to generate approximately RO 14 million in revenue over the initial term.

“The rig, which was previously stacked after the contract expiry with the same customer last year, is planned to start operations in Q4 2025,” the disclosure concluded.
