Omani Saudi Business Council focuses on boosting trade through Rub’ al Khali Port

MUSCAT : The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Ali bin Hamad Al Kalbani, Head of the Omani side of the OSBC, and attended by his Saudi counterpart, Nassir Said Al Hajiri, along with other members of the Council.Sheikh Kalbani emphasised that the meeting reflects the growing development in Omani-Saudi relations, which are progressing with strong momentum towards enhanced economic integration. He highlighted that both countries’ leaderships are committed to advancing bilateral relations in a way that benefits the aspirations of both peoples.

In his address, Sheikh Kalbani pointed out that the Council’s objective is to foster communication between the private sectors of both nations and the relevant government entities across various sectors. This collaboration is aimed at developing and protecting mutual investments, addressing challenges faced by investors, and uncovering new opportunities for investment.

Nasser bin Saeed Al Hajri, for his part, underscored the importance of the joint cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing its role in supporting sustainable development and creating investment opportunities that align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Oman’s Vision 2040. He added that the Council’s work is fundamental to enhancing economic integration and opening new horizons for investment and cooperation between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
