MUSCAT : For the first time, the Sultanate of Oman is set to host the prestigious ICAO 2024 Security Week and High-Level Ministerial Segment, marking a significant milestone for the country and the global civil aviation community. The event, organized in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), will take place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 9-12, 2024.
This international gathering signals Oman’s growing role in enhancing global aviation security as the air transport sector recovers from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will bring together aviation ministers, experts, and officials from across the globe to discuss pressing security challenges, exchange best practices, and explore new solutions for securing air travel in a rapidly evolving world.
