Oman launches training program for heavy vehicle drivers to enhance skills in temperature-sensitive logistics

Muscat : This initiative, launched by OLA in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Labour, and the Technical and Administrative Training Institute, is part of the broader efforts of the Transport and Logistics Sector Operations Committee to improve the efficiency and reliability of Oman’s logistics sector.

It focuses on equipping drivers with skills required to handle the cooling systems of locomotives and trailers. The programme also covers best practices for loading and handling temperature-sensitive goods, ensuring the safe transportation of perishable items.
