Oman Celebrates Eid Al Adha: His Majesty Leads Prayers in Nizwa

Muscat: Oman marked the first day of Eid Al Adha with grand celebrations and prayers led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in the Wilayat of Nizwa, Al Dakhiliya Governorate. His Majesty’s arrival was received with a ceremonial salute from the Guard of Honour, reflecting the reverence and national pride surrounding the occasion.

Following the Eid prayers, His Majesty warmly exchanged greetings and Eid wishes with citizens and well-wishers, symbolizing the strong connection between the leadership and the people.

The prayer gathering witnessed the participation of prominent figures, including members of the Royal Family, Ministers, senior advisors, high-ranking military and police commanders, as well as members of the State Council and Shura Council. Local dignitaries, undersecretaries, sheikhs, and citizens of Nizwa also joined in, underscoring the spirit of unity, devotion, and national harmony on this holy day.
