OCCI Real Estate Tour Highlights New Investment Opportunities in Dhofar

Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) recently organized a real estate investment tour in Dhofar Governorate, aiming to showcase key investment opportunities and provide insights into ongoing and upcoming real estate projects. The event facilitated dialogue among developers, investors, and the local community.

Marai bin Saeed Al Shanfari, Chairman of the Real Estate Development Committee at the OCCI Dhofar branch, inaugurated the workshop by emphasizing the sector’s pivotal role in driving sustainable development and supporting Oman’s Vision 2040. He highlighted that the real estate and housing sectors are instrumental in creating quality living environments and boosting the national economy.

The session featured a comprehensive visual presentation on the ambitious Sultan Haitham City project, along with five in-depth working papers. These included discussions on the Real Estate Services Development Center, the Sorouh integrated residential neighborhoods, the Tatweer platform for beneficiary services, and innovations in real estate development encompassing construction and technology. Another key focus was the importance of training and professional development in the field.

The workshop concluded with a dialogue session that addressed current challenges in the sector and explored potential solutions in coordination with both public and private stakeholders.
