New UAE telemarketing regulations effective from today — What you need to know.

Dubai: Tired of unwanted sales calls? Starting today, stricter regulations are in place to protect you from unwanted calls and give you more control over your communication. In June, the Ministry of Economy and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) announced these changes to foster a more respectful telemarketing environment, prioritising consumer privacy and minimising disruptions from unwanted calls.
