NCB raids Arjun Rampal’s house in Mumbai, details under wraps

NIRMAL YESODA

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), on Monday raided Arjun Rampal’s house in Mumbai. Until now, the NCB has not revealed anything about the raids, and more details are awaited.

The raid in Arjun Rampal’s house happened just a day after film producer Firoz Nadiawala’s house was raided by the NCB. Following the raid, investigation officers arrested Firoz’s wife Shabana Saeed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) act. According to the latest updates, the producer has been also summoned by the NCB.

A few days back, the Narcotics Control Bureau had arrested Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella. Investigation officers believe that Agisilaos is a part of the drug syndicate which is linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

NCB officers revealed that Agisilaos was in constant touch with drug peddlers who supplied narcotic substances to Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant Singh’s former girlfriend.

In connection with the drug abuse case, the NCB had also summoned Bollywood starlet Deepika Padukone. However, during the time of interrogation, Deepika revealed that she has never used narcotic substances.
