Made in Oman’ season 2 explores global reach of local products

MUSCAT : The series delves into the innovative Omani industries driving the national economy, highlighting everything from drone manufacturing to biofuel production and aluminium crafting. Focusing on pioneering Omani industries, the programme presents a look inside national factories, revealing the manufacturing stages and showcasing the quality of local products that compete in global markets.

The programme aims to foster a culture of reliance on local products and promote Omani industry within and outside the Sultanate. It showcases the capabilities of national companies in meeting the needs of the local market, along with their success in exporting to regional and international markets
Intisar bint Habib Al Shabli, the program’s producer, emphasised that the first season succeeded in presenting a comprehensive picture of Omani industries and highlighting the great potential of national products.

The ‘Made in Oman’ programme aligns with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to strengthen the industrial sector as a key driver of the national economy, while diversifying sources of income away from oil by supporting manufacturing industries, stimulating small and medium enterprises, and encouraging innovation in manufacturing.

The new season is expected to generate widespread engagement across social media platforms, with episodes being posted on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter, along with exclusive reports focusing on additional details about each manufacturer and product.

It’s worth noting that the program airs daily at 10:30 pm and offers the audience an opportunity to discover the secrets of Omani industry and how some factories have transformed from start-up projects into globally competitive brands.
