Kunchakko Boban’s new thriller has been titled ‘Naayattu’

Joseph directed by M Padmakumar was a surprise hit at the Mollywood box-office in 2018. The major highlight of this movie was Joju George’s mesmerizing screen presence, and the impeccable script written by Shahi Kabir, who is a civil police officer in real life. Now, Shahi Kabir is back with his next scripting venture ‘Naayattu’ which has none other than Kunchakko Boban in the lead role.

The film will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Martin Prakkat, who is making a strong comeback to the industry after a hiatus of five years. His previous movies Best Actor, ABCD, and Charlie were all blockbusters at the box-office.

Kunchakko Boban will be playing the role of Praveen Michael, a civil police officer in this movie. Recently, the chocolate hero had revealed that his role in Naayattu will be a milestone in his career.

Kunchakko Boban, who is successfully reviving his career was a part of two thriller movies in the recent past. Films like ‘Vetta’, ‘Take Off’ and ‘Anjaam Pathira’, had set the box-office on fire, and the same is expected with Naayattu as well.

Apart from Kunchakko Boban, the film also stars Joju George and Nimisha Sajayan in other prominent roles. The film’s cinematography is handled by Shyju Khalid. More details regarding this upcoming movie will be unveiled in the coming days.
