Kangana Ranaut, one of the most popular actresses in India has once again landed in trouble after she made derogatory comments on farmers who protested in Karnataka. According to the latest updates, a criminal case has been filed against Kangana in Karnataka’s Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Tumkur.
Following the farmer’s protest in the country, Kangana Ranaut had lashed out at the movement, and she even called farmers ‘terrorists’ in one of her tweets made on September 20.
Kangana has been charged under sections 44,108, 153, 153 A, and 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
“Prime Minister, if anyone’s sleeping, they can be woken up, if someone doesn’t understand, they can be explained, but what can be done when someone is acting to be asleep or doesn’t want to understand? These are the same terrorists. Not one citizenship was lost due to CAA, but they ended up spilling so much blood,” tweeted Kangana on September 20.
Following her remarks on concerns of safety in Mumbai, Shiv Sena had recently launched a cyber attack against Kangana. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had asked Kangana to never visit Mumbai. However, an unflinching Kangana reached Mumbai on September 9 and visited her Manikarnika Films building which was partly demolished by the BMC.
