Industry veterans honoured with EIU-AIMRI honorary Doctorate

A distinguished group of industry pioneers and professionals were honored with Industrial and Professional Doctorates at the EIU-AIMRI Honorary Industrial Doctorate Conferring Ceremony, held at JW Marriott Hotel Marina, Dubai. Organized by the Aries International Maritime Research Institute (AIMRI) in collaboration with the Paris based European International University (EIU), the event celebrated exceptional individuals whose contributions have significantly shaped their respective industries.

The AIMRI Honorary Industrial Doctorate were awarded to Mr. Joseph William Foster, Co-founder of Reebok, who revolutionized the global sports footwear industry with his innovative approach and visionary leadership. Dr Viju Jacob, Executive Chairman of Synthites Industries Ltd, a multinational conglomerate in the spices sector, and CA Davis Kallukaran, Founder & Managing Partner of Crowe Oman, a top ten global accounting & consulting network. These Industry veterans were celebrated for their outstanding achievements, which have set new benchmarks in their respective sectors.

Dual Doctorate: in recognition of his expertise and leadership Mr. Davis Kallukaran, Founder & Managing Partner of Crowe Oman, also received the professional doctorate in Forensic audit from the European International University (EIU).

The European International university is globally renowned for its high-quality, affordable international education programs, while AIMRI continues to be a leading institute in the UAE, pioneering technical maritime education and fostering future industry leaders. The conferring ceremony not only honored individual accomplishments but also emphasized the importance of innovation, leadership, and knowledge-sharing in shaping the industries of tomorrow.

Dr Davis Kallukaran, is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Foreign investment committee of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also serves on the boards of Oman American Business council.and Indo Gulf Middleast Chamber of Commerce (INMECC) head quartered in India.
