Sheikh Abdullah hailed the steadily growing cooperation ties across all fronts owing to the support of the leadership of the two countries. He hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Indian Minister and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, and Pavan Kapoor, India’s Ambassador to the UAE.

Meeting Indian community

Jaishankar wrapped up his two-day visit to the UAE, after a virtual meeting with Indian community leaders.

In a media statement issued on November 26, the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said: “The EAM appreciated the work of the Indian associations in taking care of the community during the COVID pandemic. He assured them of the government’s responsiveness on issues pertaining to post-COVID normalcy,” the mission stated.
