The death toll from the virus has now climbed to 16,893 with 418 persons succumbing to the viral infection in the last 24 hours. 3,35,271 COVID-19 patients cured so far.
Meanwhile , Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation at 4 pm on Tuesday. This would be his sixth address to the nation since the outbreak of the pandemic. In his last address to the nation on 12 May, he had announced a 20-lakh-crore financial package to boost the economy.
