Indian nurse stabbed to death in US

An Indian nurse, Merin Joy, working at the Broward Health Coral Springs was stabbed and then run over by a car on July 28 ending in her death. After finishing her duty at 7.30am, Ms. Joy had reached the parking lot to return home when she was stabbed by an assailant.

After she was stabbed and pushed down, the assailant ran a car over her. Even though she was rushed to the hospital the authorities couldn’t save her life.

The police have information about the assailant but haven’t revealed much about the identity of the assailant.

Ms. Joy hails from Kottayam in Kerala.
