Indian Embassy in Kuwait organized Cycle rally on World Bicycle Day

Kuwait: On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, the Embassy of India in Kuwait  organised a Cycle Rally as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebrating 75 Years of India’s Independence and also on the occasion of 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Kuwait, to highlight the simplicity, affordability, reliability, environment friendly means of transportation; which fosters health and wellness.

The rally started with a floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.”We are organising this cycle rally as part of our 75th year of India’s independence,”

Ambassador Shri Sibi George said while inaugurating the rally at India House..He said that the Bicycle rally is part of the efforts to generate awareness about the several measures that India has taken for environment protectionMore than 50 cyclists participated in the event, which covered a full round f the diplomatic area at Daiya..
