The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in Kerala for the next five days. Yellow alert has been declared in several districts.
June 11: Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod.

June 13: Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod.

June 15: Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod.
All those residing near landslide prone areas and on the banks of rivers have been urged to exercise caution. People living in coastal areas, which area prone to sea attacks, have also been warned. IMD warned about strong winds uprooting electric posts and trees.
