GururBrahma GururVishnu GururDevo Maheshwaraha,
Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.
(Guru is the Creator (Brahma), Guru is the Preserver (Vishnu), GuruDeva is Destroyer (Maheshwara)
Guru is the absolute (singular) Lord himself, Salutations to that Sri Guru).
All my dear teachers. Lets us be proud, Let us be happy for taking up the role of a teacher in this life.
Because, to be a teacher is to be in an unique career in our lifetime. Because teaching is beyond any reward.
Teaching is a sacrifice. Teaching is like a river that gives water to all the plants, that gives water to every wells, that takes away the dirt and gives back to the sea. Teachers carry out the very role of a river.
This Sanskrit shloka is priced very high. Guru Brahma who creates the mind of a child in the teacher. Guru Vishnu who directs the child to enjoy the life through his own creation is the teacher. Guru Devo Maheshwaraha once again Guru directs every child to recreate, to innovate, from where he is and create a better world. Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma, again Guru connects the child to the creator.
Therefore, all that a student, a child can do is Gurave Namaha, surrender all that he made, all that he learnt, all that he acquired at the golden feet of the teacher.
Dear teachers, a great teacher’s day and you should be proud to be a teacher and from Raj, I too surrender to you for what you offer to the world. Have a great day. Thank you.
