Godavarthi Venkata Srinivas appointed as India’s new Ambassador to Oman

MUSCAT: India on Wednesday announced the appointment of Godavarthi Venkata Srinivas as the new Ambassador to Oman.

Srinivas will succeed current Indian Ambassador His Excellency Amit Narang.

In a statement issued, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said Srinivas is expected to take up the assignment shortly.Srinivas is a 1993 IFS officer and is currently on Special Duty at MEA.
