GDRFA launches ‘We are here for you’ campaign at Dubai Global Village

Dubai: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has kicked off its “We Are Here For You” awareness campaign, offering a range of services to Global Village visitors.

The campaign, which runs from January 8 to February 8, 2025, is held daily at Global Village, near the main theatre, from 4pm onwards.

The initiative is designed to raise awareness of GDRFA services, enhance customer satisfaction, and simplify procedures.

Visitors to Global Village will have the opportunity to access a user-friendly platform where they can apply for various services, such as entry permits, golden visas, identity and citizenship services, and permits for residents and companions from GCC countries.

A dedicated team will be on hand to assist with inquiries and provide guidance.
Brigadier Abdul Samad Hussein, Assistant Director General of the Institutional Support Sector at GDRFA, said that the campaign is part of the organisation’s efforts to strengthen communication with both residents and visitors to the UAE.

The campaign features engaging activities, including weekly contests and prizes for children, with the participation of GDRFA mascots “Salem and Salama.” Attendees will also receive fun giveaways like colouring books and medals, making for an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Additionally, the campaign will offer specialised platforms for GDRFA services, including registration for the smart portal, the children’s passport control counter, the “I Love the UAE” initiative, the “04” platform for innovative ideas, and applications for golden visas.
