Fahadh Faasil’s Irul is special for this reason

NIRMAL YESODA

Fahadh Faasil, the most impeccable young actor in Mollywood has been recently roped in to play the lead role in the movie ‘Irul’ which marks the directorial debut of Naseef Yuzuf Izuddin. Even though Naseef is a new face in Mollywood, he has previously worked in several Bollywood movies that include Tumbbad, Happy New Year, and Raees.

According to the latest reports, Naseef is crafting this movie with just three characters. Apart from Fahadh, the film also stars Soubin Shahir, and Darshana Rajendran. As there are only three characters in this film, Naseef is showing an epitome of how films can be made during the coronavirus days with minimal resources.

In a recent interaction with the Times of India, Naseef revealed that it is the content-oriented approach of Mollywood audiences that made him make his directorial debut in Malayalam. The director also added that working with Fahadh and Soubin was an exciting experience.

On the other hand, Fahadh Faasil is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming movie ‘Malik’. Malik marks the reunion of Fahadh Faasil and Mahesh Narayanan after the success of Take Off.

The makers of Malik had originally scheduled its theatrical release in May. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they have indefinitely postponed its release.
