Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management has eased restrictions on activities across the emirate and also restrictions on entry to shopping malls for people above 60 and children under 12 starting from June 18, tweeted the Dubai Media Office. This will be subject to compliance with precautionary measures such as wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing.

Economic activities that were earlier restricted can now have 100% capacity. These include swimming pools and aquatic sports; museums, art galleries and public libraries; water parks and kids’ clubs in hotels; desert camps; home beauty services; 3D and 4D cinemas; and kids’ playground in public parks. Care facilities for the elderly and people of determination can also be open.

In other emirates’, however, the restrictions on children under 12 remain in force while adults under the age of 70 can enter malls.
