Donald Trump Receives UAE’s Highest Civilian Honour – ‘Order of Zayed’

Abu Dhabi: Former US President Donald Trump has been conferred with the ‘Order of Zayed’, the United Arab Emirates’ highest civilian award, in recognition of his contributions to strengthening UAE-US relations. The award was presented by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, underscoring the importance of Trump’s role in enhancing bilateral cooperation during his presidency.

The ‘Order of Zayed’ is traditionally awarded to heads of state and distinguished international leaders who have made significant contributions to the UAE’s global partnerships.

In a statement, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the longstanding and evolving relationship between the UAE and the United States, calling it a source of pride. He noted that Trump’s administration played a pivotal role in deepening this strategic partnership across multiple sectors.

“President Trump’s leadership significantly bolstered our bilateral ties. We honor his efforts with this award as a token of our appreciation and respect,” said Sheikh Mohamed.

He further expressed confidence that this recognition will help propel UAE-US cooperation to greater heights—particularly in economic, security, cultural, and official diplomatic domains.

This honor comes amid broader efforts by the UAE to recognize influential international figures who have played a part in enhancing its global relationships.
